Why use a Buyers Agent?
Realtors® can perform their duties in either of two roles.
A Buyers Agents works for Buyers and must legally and ethically look out for the buyer's best interest.
A Listing or Sellers Agent represents the Seller and is obligated by law to get the best price and terms for the Seller.
I can perform the duties of either a Buyers or Sellers Agent. I understand all facets of the Sarasota - Florida real estate market with a special emphasis on Siesta Key, St. Armand’s Key, Lido Key and the West of Trail areas. Don't be fooled into believing that an agent that works only one side of the business is as well-informed as a full-service professional. When I represent you as your Buyer Agent, my allegiance is to you and only you.
Why use a Buyers Agent? Your interests are represented at no cost to you. The commission paid to the Buyers Agent comes from the Seller under the terms of the listing contract with the Seller's Broker. A better question might be, "Why not use a Buyers Agent since it costs you nothing."
My ultimate goal in representing you in the purchase of your real estate is a successful transition into your new home.
- I will listen to and understand your needs and wishes first before we ever start looking at homes.
- I'm an expert in both resale and new construction homes in the Sarasota area including the barrier islands and West of Trail.
- I'm very familiar with the cultural coast of Florida. I will assist you in choosing a home or condo on a golf course, the beach or other criteria that best fits your desires and price range.
- I can provide school information including public and private schools and our local colleges.
- I'll help you get the best mortgage and insurance rates if you need assistance in that area.
- You will have me on your side every step of the way. I'm an expert negotiator. I know what properties are worth and how to get Sellers to accept your offer. My experience and knowledge of the intricate details of real estate contracts and my strong negotiating skills will be key components to a successful contract for you.
